Konrad KOZACZUK

Konrad Kozaczuk has 18 years of experience in aviation industry as design engineer and manager. He started his work in Institute of Aviation working on hovercrafts design and various R&D projects, then he moved to work as aviation mechanic performing line maintenance on Boeing 737, 757 and ATR aircrafts. In 2007 he join General Electric Company and work as design engineer on aerostructures design focusing on composite parts.
As design engineer he took a part in COMAC ARJ 21 and C 919 nacelle design. In 2011 he was promoted to design team manager, his team was responsible for Bombardier Global 7000 fan cowl, Airbus 320 NEO trans cowl and Airbus A 350-900 wing fix trailing edge design. In 2015 he took a position of director of Center for Composite Technologies in Institute of Aviation.
Under his leadership the Center developed capability in composite material testing obtaining NADCAP certification, automated fiber placement, thermoplastic thermoforming and joining, pressure vessel winding, composite aerostructure design and structure repairs.
In parallel with management duties, he led several development projects projects: ILX-27 helicopter composite main rotor blade, ILX-34 aircraft composite wing box, and rescue hovercraft PRC - 650.
