Dr. Alejandro Murrieta-Mendoza, is a Lecturer/Researcher at the Aviation Academy at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from L’École de Technologie Supérieure, part of the Université du Quebéc Network (Canada), a M.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering from the same university, and a Bachelorin Electronics Engineering from the Autonomous University of Baja California in Mexico. |
He collaborates as guest editor for the MDPI® journals: Aerospace and Applied Science. He actively collaborates with the Laboratory LARCASE. His intensive research on aircraft trajectory optimization has led him to publish in many different journals, presented in many international conferences, and publish a book chapter. Dr Murrieta-Mendoza was awarded the 2020 SAE® Charles M. Manly Memorial Medal, His current research lies in the application of simulation and optimization techniques applied to aviation and logistics problems and data driven algorithms and applications including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. |
